Illinois Executive Department Amendment (1954)

The Illinois Executive Department Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Illinois on November 2, 1954, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed a number of rules related to the election and term in office of the governor, secretary of state, state treasurer and other state officials.[1]
