The Illinois Michigan Canal Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Illinois on November 2, 1954, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed rules for the sale or lease of the Illinois and Michigan Canal.[1]
