The Illinois Proposed New Constitution was on the ballot in Illinois on December 12, 1922, as a constitutional convention referral. It was defeated. It proposed that a new constitution should be adopted. This constitution was the result of the work done in the constitutional convention that was approved by the voters in 1918.[1]
