The Illinois Sale of Tax Delinquent Property Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Illinois on November 4, 1980, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed reducing the redemption period on the sale of tax delinquent property.[1]
