Imelda Barrera-Arevalo is a judge of the Brooks County Court in Texas. She was elected in 2014, effective January 1, 2015, for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[1]

Barrera-Arevalo ran for election to the Brooks County Court.
Primary: She faced incumbent Raul M. Ramirez and Roberto J. Villarreal in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014.
Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the primary, Barrera-Arevalo faced Villareal in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. She won, earning 55.8% of the votes cast.
General: She won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014. [1][2]
