An Indian Wells Rotation in the Office of Mayor, Measure Q ballot question was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in the City of Indian Wells in Riverside County, where it was approved.
Measure Q provided that:
- At the first regular city council meeting each December, the city council will appoint one council member as mayor and one council member as mayor pro tempore.
- The city council member having the longest current continuous membership on the council without serving as mayor shall be appointed as mayor, and the council member having the second longest current continuous membership on the council without serving as mayor shall be appointed mayor pro tempore.
