The Indiana Acts Ought to Pertain to Single Issues, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Indiana on November 5, 1974, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended: Article 4, Section 19. The amendment would state that an act, except an act for the codification, revision or rearrangement of laws, would be confined to one subject and matters properly connected therewith.[1]
