The Indiana Elected County Officials' Term Limits, Proposition 3, also known as Proposition 3, was on the ballot in Indiana on November 8, 1988, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The proposition proposed one amendment to the constitution: Article 6, Section 2. The amendment would allow elected county officials to be reelected to their offices without limitation on the number of consecutive terms.[1]
