Indiana General Assembly Session Schedule, Amendment 1 (1970)

The Indiana General Assembly Session Schedule, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Indiana on November 3, 1970, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended: Article 4, Section 9. The amendment would permit the General Assembly to meet annually instead of biennially, and to establish the length and frequency of its sessions and recesses by law.[1]
