Indiana Governor Term Limits, Amendment 2 (1972)
The Indiana Governor Term Limits, Amendment 2, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Indiana on November 7, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the state constitution be amended to permit the governor to serve eight out of any 12 years.[1]
