|
|
The Indiana Governor and Lieutenant Governor Joint Campaign, Amendment 2, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Indiana on November 5, 1974, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the state constitution be amended to mandate candidates for governor and lieutenant governor to run for election jointly so that a vote cast for one is a vote cast for the other, and to provide for the selection of a governor and lieutenant governor in the event of a tie vote in a general election.[1]
