Indiana man files lawsuit after being barred from polling place

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana: Officials in St. Joseph County are being sued by a man who the stopped form entering a polling place on the state's May 8 primary election day. They stopped the man from entering the fire station where the polls were held because he was attempting to enter carrying a gun, a violation of local ordinance. However, state law prohibits local governments, for the most part, from limiting gun possession save for buildings that house courtrooms. The lawsuit is asking the court to void the local laws that restrict public gun possession.[1]
