The Interstate Compact for Juveniles is an interstate compact among all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam. The compact allows states and jurisdictions to regulate the inter-state movement of juveniles who are under court supervision. This compact also has congressional consent.[1][2]

The legislature of each member state passes the laws with certain modifications, but the core of the legislation remains the same.
