The Iowa Apportionment of Representatives Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the 1868 ballot in Iowa as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure removed the word "white" from Section 35 of Article II of the Iowa Constitution, relating to the apportionment of representatives.[1][2]
