The Iowa Apportionment of Senators Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the 1868 ballot in Iowa as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure removed the word "white" from Section 34 of Article II of the Iowa Constitution, relating to the apportionment of senators.[1][2]
