The Iowa Legislative Sessions Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Iowa on November 5, 1968, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided for annual sessions of the legislature, to begin on the second Monday of January.[1][2][3][4]
