Campaign themes

2016

Robin's campaign website described the following goals:[2]

  • Hire additional police officers to help reduce crime and make the City of Milwaukee a safer place to live for all of us.
  • Implement a "GUN BOUNTY" program where rewards are given to individuals who report someone in possession of, or using, an illegal firearm.
  • Reduce the amount of parking enforcement to a level designed to maintain a reasonable compliance with parking ordinances and not just as a means to collect revenue.
  • Make the Common Council "business-friendly", working with businesses they believe to be problematic, elevating them to a reasonable standard but not forcing them out-of-business.
  • Maintain better roads and safer streets.
  • Lower taxes.[3]
