Ireland Blankenship
Ireland "Heavy" Blankenship is the District 1 representative on the Pike County Board of Education in Kentucky. She was elected to the board in the general election on November 4, 2014.[1]

The election in Pike County featured two seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election. District 1 incumbent Virgil Osborne ran against challenger Ireland "Heavy" Blankenship and, with incumbent Chuck Johnson not filing for re-election, District 4 saw a three-way race between challengers Vicki Hatfield, Tim Reed II and Nee Jackson.
