Irene Hernandez-Blair

Irene Hernandez-Blair is an at-large representative on the Chino Valley Unified Board of Education in California. She was first elected to the board on November 6, 2012.[1] Hernandez-Blair won re-election in the general election on November 8, 2016.[2]

Three of the five seats on the Chino Valley Unified School District Board of Education were up for at-large general election on November 8, 2016. In their bids for re-election, incumbents Irene Hernandez-Blair, Andrew Cruz, and James Na defeated challengers Joe Schaffer, Don Bridge, Lily Valdivia-Rodriguez, and Mia Ontiveros.[3][4] Cruz, Na, and Ontiveros ran together as a slate called "Strong Family Value Candidates."[5]

She reported $16,759.00 in contributions and $16,896.96 in expenditures to San Bernardino County Elections Office of the Registrar of Voters, which left her campaign with $2.19 on hand in the election.[6]
Endorsements
Hernandez-Blair was endorsed by Associated Chino Teachers, the Concerned Parents and Citizens of CVUSD, the HONOR PAC, and the community organization Evolve.[7][8][9]
