As a former Educator, I understand that many students face daily struggles which extend beyond the four walls of a classroom. As a former Administrator, I know how hard it is to balance the budget without sacrificing the quality of education. As a volunteer and a mentor, I learned about the struggle to find time to read to your kids when your mind is worried about the next meal.
As a parent-and a long-time educator - I will be your child's voice on the Dearborn School Board, one that is heard in classrooms throughout our district.
- I will work hard to ensure that our schools are safe and that children's emotional and other needs are met.
- ALL our children deserve a high quality education.
- I will fight for transparency from Lansing and also here at home to make sure that policies are best for ALL the children in our city.
