Pallares' career experience includes working as a casenote and comment editor with the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law & Policy, as an assistant editor with the Chinese Journal of International Law, as a judicial intern with federal district judge Daniel Sparr of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, as a judicial law clerk with Judge Michael A. Martinez of the 2nd District Court in Colorado.[1]

Pallares has served as a chief deputy district attorney, as a deputy district attorney, and as a senior deputy district attorney in Denver, Colorado.[1]

Pallares has been affiliated with the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Colorado, the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, the Colorado Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Bar Association, the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, the Sam Cary Bar Association, and the South Asian Bar Association of Colorado.[1]
