Isabel Sonia Fernandez (Democratic Party) ran for election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 79. Fernandez did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on June 23, 2020.
Fernandez was also a Democratic candidate for District 17 representative on the New York City Council in New York. Fernandez initially filed to run in the primary on September 12, 2017, but did not appear on the candidate list published on August 4, 2017.
