If Measure D had been approved, it would have authorized the Isla Vista Recreation and Park District to:
- Sell or trade Pardall Gardens and the District office properties.
- Transfer and/or swap subterranean and other use rights from Anisq'Oyo’, People’s and Perfect parks.
The funds realized from the sale/transfer/swap of these properties would have been used to build a community center and to expand the district's infrastructure.

MEASURE D: "Shall a measure be approved to authorize: (i) the sale or trade of Pardall Gardens and the District office properties; and (ii) the transfer and/or swap of subterranean or other use rights from Anisq'Oyo’, People’s and Perfect parks? Any funds realized shall only be used for a community center and District infrastructure. These authorizations shall expire ten (10) years following the effective date of this measure."[1] |
