Ismail Mohamed (Democratic Party) is a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 3. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Mohamed (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives to represent District 3. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Ismail Mohamed was born in Somalia and lives in Ohio. Mohamed graduated from Northland High School. He earned a B.A. in political science and government from The Ohio State University and a J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Mohamed's career experience includes working as an attorney and as a telephonic Somali interpreter. Mohamed was appointed to serve on the North-Linden Area Commission and on the Columbus Civilian Review Board.[1][2]
