Ivan Sanchez (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Texas' 7th Congressional District. He lost in the Democratic primary on March 6, 2018.
Biography
Ivan Sanchez lives in Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Houston-Downtown. Sanchez’s career experience includes working as a senior congressional liaison and field representative in the 18th Congressional District in Texas. He was appointed to serve on the Mayor's Hispanic Advisory Board in Houston, Texas. Sanchez was elected as the precinct chair of the Harris County Democratic Party. He founded a nonprofit, Houston Millenials, and serves as its board chairman.[1]
