J. Elizabeth Kellum (Republican Party) is a judge of the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals. She assumed office in 2008. Her current term ends on January 18, 2027.
Kellum (Republican Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Education
Kellum received her B.A. in political science, with a minor in history, from the University of Alabama, graduating cum laude in 1981. She received her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1984.[1]
Career
Kellum worked as a staff attorney for the Court of Criminal Appeals and the Alabama Supreme Court. She was an assistant attorney general in Alabama from 1985 to 1987. While most of her career has been in the public sector, Kellum also spent several years in private practice with the Montgomery law firm of Robison & Belser, P.A.[1]
