The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 12, 2014. Washington-2 has two state representatives. J. Guy Isabelle was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Francis McFaun and Rob LaClair were unopposed in the Republican primary.[2] McFaun and LaClair defeated Isabelle in the general election.[3]
