J. Kelly Clarke seeks post in 19th Judicial District

FRANKFORT, Kentucky: Maysville attorney J. Kelly Clarke has filed to run for the position of commonwealth attorney in the 19th Judicial District.[1] The post is currently held by Kathryn Hendrickson. Hendrickson, who was elected in 2006, had originally filed for re-election but has since backed out of the race. The filing deadline for the 2012 Kentucky judicial elections is January 31st, 2012. Clarke, a Democrat, also ran for the position in 2006. He was defeated by Hendrickson in the primary election.[1]
