J. Michael Davisson
J. Michael Davisson (Republican Party) was a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 73. He assumed office on October 28, 2021. He left office on November 9, 2022.
Davisson (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Indiana's 9th Congressional District. He lost in the Republican primary on May 3, 2022.
Davisson also ran for re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives to represent District 69. He did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on May 3, 2022.
Davisson was first appointed to the state House on October 21, 2021, to fill a vacancy created by the death of his father and former Rep. Steve Davisson (R).[1]
Biography
J. Michael Davisson served in the U.S. Army for 17 years and reached the rank of sergeant. Davisson earned a B.A. from Indiana University. His career experience includes operating Good Living Pharmacy.[2]

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
