J. Michael McCarthy was a judge of the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Jeb Bush in 2000 and served in the Civil Division. He retired when his term expired on January 5, 2015.[1][2][3]

Education

McCarthy received both his B.A. degree and his J.D. degree (1967) from the University of Florida.[2][4]

Career

McCarthy worked as a private practice lawyer for 30 years prior to his appointment to the circuit court in 2000.[2]
