J. Patrick Hanley graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. In 1996 he earned his J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law.[1]

  • 2000-2005: He represented the State of Alaska in criminal prosecution for the Anchorage District Attorney's Office
  • 1998-2000: He worked for the Anchorage Municipal Prosecutor's office as an Assistant Municipal Prosecutor
  • 1998: He worked as a staff attorney for the Alaska Court of Appeals
  • 1996-1997: He worked for the Alaska Court of Appeals as a Law Clerk for Judge Robert Coats[1]
