USMC Veteran. Public Safety Professional. Republican Candidate for Sheriff committed to restoring trust, seeing transparency, taking the politics out of Law Enforcement.
  • Transparency, accountability and public trust are 3 of the main goals that need to be fixed. This can be completed by: publishing public safety reports showing current crimes, office actions and publishing dates staff will be holding community listening sessions to inform the community of issues in their area, training for parents, grandparents and guardians to alert them to current trends and give information on juvenile specific issues, as well as for the Sheriff to hear directly from the community what they like and dont like that the Sheriffs office is doing.
  • Modernized policing and technology efforts. This will be completed by a police to citizen program that will provide digital access to pertinent records, a revamp of the Field Training Program to provide a more indepth specialized training for new deputies, continue to improve communication efforts with other state and local agencies, bring a renewed partnership with federal, state and local agencies.
  • Community safety, crime reduction and school safety renewal. This will be completed by: increase in number of personnel working patrol and give them the proper tools to complete the job, working with community leaders and programs to reduce recidivism, bring SRO's and juvenile intervention programs together to bring a positive change through schools, bring training and education to the deputies to make a more well rounded deputy that will fulfill needs of the county and minimal costs.
Community outreach, more deputies to ensure safety for not only the deputies but for the citizens who are waiting extended times to have a response.
