J. Scott Wantland
J. Scott Wantland was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 26 of the Kentucky House of Representatives.[1]
Wantland was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 15 of the Kentucky State Senate.

Elections for the Kentucky House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. J. Scott Wantland ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Russell Webber defeated Alex Wimsatt in the Republican primary. Webber defeated Wantland in the general election.[1][2][3]

Wantland ran in the 2012 election for Kentucky State Senate District 15. He was unopposed in the primary on May 22, 2012, but withdrew prior to the general election on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
