J. Sterling Snowdy is a judge of the 40th Judicial District in Louisiana. He was first elected to this position on November 5, 1996. He was re-elected on October 4, 2008.[1][2][3] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[4][5]

Education

Snowdy received his B.S. from the University of New Orleans and his J.D. from Loyola University - New Orleans. He was admitted to the bar in 1986.[6]

Career

Snowdy worked as a lawyer prior to his judicial election in 1996.[6]
