J. Steven Patrick is the chief judge for the Seventh Judicial District Court of Colorado. He was appointed to this position in January of 1993 and was most recently retained by voters in 2014.[1]  His six-year term was set to expire on January 11, 2021.[2]

Patrick was retained to the Seventh Judicial District with 60.9 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]

Education

Patrick received his undergraduate degree from Simpson College and his J.D. from Yale University.[4]

Career

Prior to his judicial appointment in 1993, Patrick served as a Gunnison County judge and as a municipal judge for the towns of Gunnison, Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte.[1]
