JaNay Dawson is the District 4 representative on the Baldwin County Board of Education in Alabama. Dawson won in the general election on November 8, 2016.[1][2]

Two of the seven seats on the Baldwin County Public Schools school board were up for general election on November 8, 2016. A primary election took place on March 1, 2016.

District 4 incumbent Norman Moore did not file for re-election, while District 7 incumbent Shannon Cauley (R) ran for another term. Newcomer JaNay Dawson (R) ran unopposed in the District 4 race. Cauley defeated Chris Francis (R) in the primary election. Dawson and Cauley won election without opposition in the general election.[3][4]
