Jack Achenbach is certainly a Jack of All Trades! Growing up in Pennsylvania, Jack learned the value of hard work and the almighty dollar. In the entrepreneurial spirit, Jack mustered a landscaping empire throughout his grade school years. During his college years and early twenties, Jack worked in restaurants, food marketing, and even with professional sport teams. Still not satisfied, Jack achieved a goal of becoming a registered dietitian with an MBA and a Masters in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. Through his escapades, Jack traveled the country, living in 11 states until finally settling into Orlando, Florida. Throughout his travels, Jack discovered that people, no matter their differences, sought a common goal. With a taste for politics, and a belief in the American system, Jack aims to usher in policy to better all Americans and to help them reach their American dream. From coast to coast Jack has seen more than most and has met so many incredibly wonderful people along the way. The overall takeaway from his travels is in realizing that no matter who you come to meet, whether it be professional athletes, ranchers, hipsters, seniors, or those struggling to get by, we're all after a common goal; to live the good life, to prosper, and to find happiness in life.
  • Political tribalism must come to an end. An inability to cooperate across the political aisle fails to produce anything of value for either party.
  • I am a Traditional Liberal. It is time that the Democratic Party step away from radical policies that represent only a small fraction of their constituents.
  • It is essential that we set the next generation of Americans up for success. Reform public school education to cultivate viable adults, hold universities accountable for artificially increasing the price of tuition, and uphold the rule of law and system of government.

I look up to my family because there is nothing more important to me than those that I love.
Ambitious, strong-leader, achievement-oriented. A true American and Constitutionalist.
The first historical event that I remember, like many in my generation, was September 11, 2001. I was in the 2nd grade and recall being ushered out of the classroom and sent home early. When I made it home, my mother sat my siblings and me down and told us what was happening. In the days that followed, she had us listen to final words of the fallen to understand the loss, the fragility of life, and to help us appreciate the sense of community in our country that followed.
As the youngest of three siblings, Jack first started pushing lawn mowers and detailing cars at the age of twelve with a desire to be independent. Along the way, he learned the value of hard work and continued this work until the age of eighteen.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or something by Michael Crichton
The unique quality of the House of Representatives is in its namesake. Legislators represent a portion of a states' population. By comparison the Senate provides equal representation amongst states.
No, in fact, some of the most influential politicians of our time are bold young Americans who lack the "qualifications", yet make up for it with their tenacity and love of country. Electing a career politician with extensive qualifications does not guarantee your voice will be heard. Ask yourself, do qualifications truly matter when your government no longer represents you?
The cultural divide and the disparate views for its societal and governmental future.

Yes two years is the right term length. After all, our Founding Fathers wanted the House of Representatives to manage ever-changing short-term issues that affect local districts.
In a capitalist society, man exploits man, and in a socialist one, it’s the other way around.
Yes, in fact, progressive policies are often wonderfully innovative in theory yet fail to be realistically implemented, while conservative policies lack innovation yet excel in real world implementation. In other words, an inability to cooperate and utilize each others' strengths fails to produce anything of value.
