Jack Conners
Jack Conners is a former Democratic member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 7 from 1998 until his resignation in 2011. On April 5, 2011, Conners announced he would not be seeking re-election in 2011, citing the fact that his district was moved in the redistricting process.[1] On August 25, 2011, Connors resigned in order to begin work at his new position as Camden County’s director of veterans’ affairs.[2] Troy Singleton (D) was appointed to fill his seat.[3] From 2006 to 2011, he served as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
Biography
Conners' professional experience included serving as the Vice President/Regional Manager of Government Banking for Bank of America. He served in the Delaware Army National Guard from 1964 to 1969 and the United States Army Reserve from 1969 to 1970.[4]

- A3023 Requires State to purchase energy efficient and hybrid vehicles; provides for phase-in of the requirement.[5]

Conners did not seek re-election in 2011, citing the fact that his district was moved in the redistricting process.[1]
2009
Running for re-election in the 2009 general election, Conners defeated challengers Leah J. Arter (R) and Harry Adams (R). He was bracketed with Herbert Conaway Jr.[6][7]
