Jack Drake
Jack Drake (July 29, 1934 - October 11, 2015) was a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 21 from 1993 to his death from natural causes in 2015.[1]
Biography
Drake's professional experience included working as a farmer and president of the East Pottawattamie Extension Council.[2]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Tim Ennis was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Jack Drake was unopposed in the Republican primary. Ennis faced Drake in the general election.[3][4][5] Incumbent Drake defeated Ennis in the general election.[6]

2010
Drake won re-election to the District 57 seat in 2010 with no opposition. He was also unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[9]

Drake was a member of 4-H, Cattlemen's Association, Corn Growers, East Pottawattamie County Farm Bureau, Pottawattamie County Republican Central Committee, Pottawattamie County Taxpayers Association, Soybean Association and the Walnut Area Development Association.[11]
