Jack Helinger
Jack Helinger is a judge of the Florida 6th Circuit Court. His current term ends on January 2, 2029.
Helinger won re-election for judge of the Florida 6th Circuit Court outright in the general election on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Helinger was appointed to the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court by Gov. Charlie Crist on December 5, 2008. He replaced Judge Nelly Khouzam.[1][2][3][4]
Biography
Helinger received his undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and his law degree from the Stetson University College of Law.
He is married to fellow circuit judge Chris Helinger.[1]
Career
Helinger worked as a lawyer prior to his appointment to the circuit court in 2006. He is also a former prosecutor of the State Attorney's Office.[1]

General election
The general election was canceled. Jack Helinger (Nonpartisan) won without appearing on the ballot.
2016
Florida's 20 circuit courts all had seats up for election in 2016. Of the 151 seats up for election, 125 saw only one candidate file for the election. The unopposed races were canceled and the sole candidates were automatically elected. Of the 26 opposed races, only 10 saw more than two candidates file. [5]
