- Back to the BASICS of education at ALL levels of K-12. Children need to learn and master the 4 basics of education, at their grade level, before they are allowed to
advance to the next grade. . The original 3 basics of education were and in some educational places, still are: Reading...wRiting...and aRithmetic. I have added a 4th basic to that line up,
RESPONSIBLITY!!! Each student should be taught and learn to accept responsibility for their actions, both positive or negative. - Age appropriate introduction of other subjects at the grade level of each student. Elementary school students, DO NOT need to know about middle school subjects and middle school students DO NOT need to know about high school subjects, and high school students DO NOT need to know about ADULT subject matter, before they graduate, especially if they haven't mastered their grade level subjects. If the adult human brain is not fully developed until the mid-twentys, then why are some K-12 students being introducted to subject matter that most of their parents know little or NOTHING about. Most of the time WITHOUT the parents knowledge or authorization for their child to be introduced to the subject matter.
- Who has been, is currently, and from the 1st day of birth, a childs' first teacher? Correct, the parent[s]. Do parents need a degree in Education to have input into what their child is learning at school? Correct, NO!!! Why have some parents given almost total control of what their child learns at school to a 'system' that may not ALWAYS have the best interest of the student or parents in mind. Parents need to take back the RESPONSIBILITY of what subjects their child is learning and mastering [at their grade level] and what OTHER subjects, thoughts or ideas may be introduced to their child without their knowledge or approval.
Parents, TEACHERS, and students need to make the BASICS the 'REAL thing'.
They need to be actively involved in educating the students to the BEST of their abilities and insuring that the students are producing results that are at their grade level or above.
ALL people involved in the education of our children and grandchildren should take pride and RESPONSIBILTY in producing the best 'product, [the student]
as they possibly can.

People who can read, can advance through life asking questions, not aimlessly following others.
When the learning environment is calm, cool and collected, the student will learn better and enjoy learning more and have FUN!!!
