Jack R. Von Wald
Jack R. Von Wald was a judge for the Fifth Judicial Circuit in South Dakota.[1] He was appointed to this position in 1994.[2] Von Wald was re-appointed presiding judge for the remainder of his term by Chief Justice David Gilbertson on August 15, 2013. Von Wald served as presiding judge from 2003 until his retirement on January 8, 2014.[3]
Education
Von Wald received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota in 1965 and his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1967.[4]
