The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Jacqueline Cali-Pitts was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Jack Thorsen ran as an independent candidate. Cali-Pitts and Thorsen faced off in the general election.[1] Incumbent Cali-Pitts defeated Thorsen in the general election, and was re-elected for another term.[2]
