I am frugal, straightforward, and kind. Some of my best qualities are the ability to see things from multiple points of view, being detail-oriented and thorough, and remaining calm under pressure. I've lived in Park Township for a little over 3 years, and previously lived in West Michigan as a child. I'm happy to be back in such a fabulous place!
  • My number one priority will be increasing communication between the Board of Trustees and the constituents they serve, and between the township and the public as a whole.
  • Making sure that future generations continue to have easy, walkable access to the beaches is critical. This isn’t something that should be reserved for the rich, or require a car.
  • I am a frugal person, and don’t believe in wasting anyone’s money. I’m not a huge fan of our high property taxes, and do not want to increase those. I believe in being fiscally responsible, and that I should take even more care with taxpayer money than I do my own. That’s my promise to you.
Enhancing the well-being and overall experience of Park Township residents. I believe in being a careful steward of our resources so that we can continue to enjoy everything the township has to offer.
Integrity, and a willingness to listen and understand.
In addition to attending and voting at meetings like other the other Board of Trustees members do, the township supervisor has extra duties.

The supervisor helps set the meeting agenda, moderates and facilitates the Board of Trustees meetings, maintains records, helps develop the budget, works with the township manager, signs new ordinances that are approved (along with the Clerk), and acts as the agent for the township.

But key is acting in the best interests of the township and its residents.
I would like to leave the world a better place, at least in some small measure, and I would like my family to remember all the times we laughed together. If those two things happen, that is enough for me. I don't need my name on a plaque or to go down in history, but I do need to make a difference.
The ability to listen, understand, and remain calm in the face of pressure. Clear communication is also key, along with the ability to moderate township meetings and interact with the public.
