Jackie Cole was an at-large representative on the Alamance-Burlington School System school board in North Carolina. Cole lost a re-election bid in the general election on November 8, 2016. She was first elected to the board in 2004.

Four of the seven seats on the Alamance-Burlington School System school board were up for at-large general election on November 8, 2016. All four incumbents filed for re-election, and one challenger filed to face them on the ballot.[1]

Incumbents Jackie Cole and Steve Van Pelt sought their fourth-consecutive terms on the board. Pamela Thompson and Patsy Simpson sought their second and third terms, respectively.
