I am fortunate to share my space with four amazing canine companions and two loving felines.
I also enjoy many hobbies and interests to include small theatre plays, sewing, gardening, reading and outreach in various capacities.- Economic development;
- Encouraging and embracing small business ventures that will foster greater community inclusivity
Through economic development comes quality affordable housing opportunities for families to create generational wealth and solid community foundations enabling greater participation within our community.
- District 3 is the "Gateway" into Tulsa. From the east RT66 entrance into Tulsa as well as claiming Tulsa International Airport. Development of capital improvement projects and infrastructure will secure District 3 investments and opportunities to be the most welcoming district in Tulsa.
- *Public Safety
Encouraging partnerships with the city and non profits to create safer walk ability for everyone. Curbs, sidewalks better lighting in residential and business areas are necessary to accommodate EVERYONE. District 3 needs better and safer mobility options for wheelchairs, visually impaired, hearing impaired, seniors, families and school children walking home from their neighborhood schools.
- Parks and trails.
I will advocate to receive greater funding for the parks and trails with safety features that offer our neighborhoods community.
Quoted by the city of Tulsa department of parks chief- Anna America, "Our neighborhoods are only as great as the parks within" couldn't have been said better. - *Homelessness of our district members. I want to foster partnerships with established downtown Tulsa resources creating a complete satellite outreach center within the district to uplift our underserved community members. Without a comprehensive outreach one stop location, the struggle for stability becomes the greatest obstacle. District 3 is a dynamic, vibrant and caring community that would benefit tremendously uplifting those within our neighborhoods with solutions to bring economy, livability, sustainability, safety, mental health access, drug rehabilitation with employment opportunities.
- Access to all forms of health care and well being
*Partnerships with safety liaisons for neighborhoods.
- Green spaces and Parks.
- Human Rights commission policies
Resiliency and equity initiatives
Proper funding for our first responders and necessary equipment.
- Planning and development
- Economic opportunity
- Housing Stability
- Tenant stability
- Food security
