What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Representing the residents in Sterling Height and not any special interest. Lowering the taxes for every resident so they can enjoy living in Sterling Heights without fear of the taxes constantly increasing. I will use Common Sense approach to all spending decisions and stop unnecessary overspending in every area.

What qualities does this office possess that makes it a unique and important part of the state government and legal system?

I fearlessly loyal to do the best for all of the areas of Sterling Height. I will not cave to any special interest. I care very much about serving the residents.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

God Almighty is first place in my life. Everyday I try to be like Jesus and I am humbled by His Grace.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Honesty and Integrity are critical to every area of City Council. Hard work in getting the best solutions to any problems that rise.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Putting the residents first in every decision made to make sure their tax dollars are spent properly on what is best for the whole city.

What legacy would you like to leave?

Fearlessly Courageous Christian who followed after Christ Jesus that showed all to have Faith in God.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

JFK assassination Three years old and remembered every year because it was one of the most critical turning points in our history.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Real Estate Secretary for a year at local real estate office.

What is your favorite book? Why?

The Bible. Wisdom of God.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?

I only want to be like Jesus and He is Real not fictional.

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Patience is the most difficult thing because I am a hard worker who tries very hard to help in all areas and accomplish much.

Are there any little-known powers or responsibilities held by this office that you believe more people should be aware of?

On City Council individuals and business try to influence the City Council Member. It takes strong leadership using integrity and honor to not be influenced. I believe I have these qualities to stand strong for the residents of Sterling Heights and put the residents first place in all decisions made on City Council.

Do you believe that it's beneficial for holders of this office to have previous experience in government or politics?

I believe common sense is the most important experience needed along with a willingness to listen and work with every individual.

What kind of skills or expertise do you believe would be the most helpful for the holders of this office to possess?

Faith in God to know wisdom as to the best skill. Our country was founded on Godly principles and these came from the Word of God -The Bible.

What qualities does this office possess that makes it a unique and important part of the local government?

Local office is the foundation for our country. It is important to first start here helping each resident and making sure their voices are heard and considered first.

Having healthy children as a mother of four sons.
