Jackie Townes McGee (Democratic Party) was an officeholder of the Missouri House of Representatives.

Townes McGee (independent) ran for election to the Missouri House of Representatives to represent District 149. Townes McGee lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

McGee was a 2012 Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Missouri in the 2012 elections. She lost to Susan Montee in the August 7th primary election.[1] She previously served four terms in the Missouri House of Representatives.

Biography

McGee was born and raised in Southeast Missouri. She graduated from Hayti High School, graduated with a B.A. in political science from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and earned a law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

In her law practice, she focuses on nonprofit corporate representation and real estate development.[2]
