Jackson County Prosecutor to become Jackson County's new circuit court judge

Missouri: Jackson County Prosecutor Jim Kanatzar will soon become the county’s newest circuit court judge. Governor Jay Nixon chose Kanatzar for the 16th Circuit Court on March 31, 2011 from a panel of three finalists submitted by a county nominating committee.[1]
Kantazar earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and has served Jackson County's Prosecutor.[1]
Kanatzar was chosen to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge W. Stephen Nixon.[1]
