This measure sought to renew the current road levy which is set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for road repair, construction and resurfacing in the township.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Jackson Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of roads at a rate not exceeding one (1) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3] |
